effy rosalie halliwell was by herself, a rare thing indeed for her. well it used to be rare now it was more normal. effy was the sort of person who thrived of socializing, she love to talk to others and generally be with other people as well. The more the merrier but not to crowded as that was just plain annoying. The reason she was alone was simply it was dinner time, when everyone ate, well normal people ate. Rose didn't eat, well she ate the tiniest amount of food once a day to keep her going but apart from that she didn't. She drank water to trick herself into being full and only ate water based foods. Less calories that way. The reason she didn't eat was not because she thought she was over-weight, it was because of a few ex-boyfriends telling her she was fat and the fact she had to stay skinny. That had been a big blow for her, for any girl or guy it would be it damaged you especially if you weren't fat just not a stick. Her weight was getting dangerously low, she weighed six stone three, when for her height she should way about eight and a half. Still no one guessed because she was a little on the short side, five foot exactly, so she just looked petite.
effy sat on her double bed, books circling her creating some sort of natural barricade. yes as normal effy was studying, not because she wanted to be a brain box, simply because it took her mind of things and gave her something to do rather than moping about. besides she had three essays due on Monday and she hadn't even started them. well she had written the date and the title then her name but that didn't really count did it. truth be told she was very side tracked, she missed her sister liddiyah. her sister had been her best friend, now she was her worst enemy. effy refused to speak to her or even speak of her. at least she still had her eldest sister annie. annie had always been there for her despite there being a six year age gap. (effy being fifteen and annie being twenty one) effy wondered where annie was now, she couldn't even hazard a guess. truth be told in the recent weeks they had barley spoken. she had barley spoken to anyone.

Savannah smiled to herself as she looked down at her “memory box”. She was one of those people that thought it was important to pay attention to the past. After all you wouldn’t want to make the same mistake twice. In here were notes about fight she had been though. Strategies and spells. There were also a few potion recepies but that was never her strength, it wasn’t shocking when things would blow up in her presence. Those weren’t the only things in there though, there were pictures of all kinds. Pictures of her and her friends, family, pets or just pictures she had taken of random things and liked. Ruffling through it she found a picture of herself and Effy, her cousin, laughing at something. She stared at the picture for a few minutes thinking to herself. Things had changed so much in the last few months. Not that she regretted any of it, sure she was sad sometimes but in the end she had just gotten better from it, so she didn’t have a reason to regret anything.
Putting the box away underneath her bed again she got up and stretched. Ever since she had chosen this road everything had become so much simpler. She didn’t have to go to school anymore, she could cast whatever spell she wanted too and use her powers whenever she chose too. She felt free, nothing holding her down from reaching her goals. She didn’t understand why her family hadn’t chosen for this path sooner, why they keep insisting on staying on the ‘right’ path. Taking a deep breath she glanced at herself in the mirror before black orbing out. She might aswell go pay one of them a visit.
Appearing next to the window she glanced at Effy, studying her for a bit. The young girl had changed so much since their change of sides. She had always been skinny but now when she looked closely she could clearly see she had gotten skinnier. “You know Effy you really should eat more.” She commented walking over to her and sitting down on the bed, moving some of the books aside. She wasn’t sure how the blonde would react to her presence, but she wasn’t worried. If it really turned out to a fight she knew she could stand her ground.

Effy heard her cousin orb in, choosing to ignore her rather than speak to her. It was her cousin, paige and henry's daughter, savannah penny halliwell. The one who had told her mother about the shimmering, the one that had caused her to shimmer in the first place. She pushed a strand of hair behind her ear, agitated that hannah was in her room. Still she continued to ignore her as she hadn't spoken yet. Oh how effy wished it had stayed that way. ''You know Effy you really should eat more.” following the comment , hannah sat on her bed whilst moving some of her text books aside. Firstly no one commented on her eating, it just wasn't something that was said despite how worried her family were. Secondly she had moved her what seemed a random array of books, but they had been posited so she knew where each of them were. Still effy said nothing, the last time she had opened her mouth and stood up to hannah she had been strangled to the point of blacking out and hannah had only stopped because of her sister annie saving her.
Effy clicked her fingers, truth be told she was bored. Bored of her essays, bored of everything. She wanted change, for better or for worse. Her stomach gurgled, pleading with her to eat. But that was something effy would not do. She would not satisfy the hunger pains that literally ate her sides. She would not give in and be weak. She thought that starving was not a pain but a cure, the pain would pass and when it did she would be happier, skinnier and stronger. Effy rosalie halliwell strived for perfection and told herself she would get it. Sure she had her days when she struggled but with every pound that fell off it gave her hope that she was one step closer. Knowing that she was closer gave her the strength to keep going and she would not give up. She reached over to her bed side table, grabbing her mug of green tea and forcing herself to drink it down knowing that it would help her with her calories intake. She put the empty mug back on the side and returned to writing her essay. ''don't tell me what to do. Besides you know you really should get out of my room seeing as you weren't invited.

Savannah continued to watch her cousin closely, she was awfully quiet. She had expected more of a riot from her, especially since she had told Phoebe about the shimmering. On the other hand you never knew what was to be expected from Effy, she wasn’t really the most predictable girl out there. For now though it just seemed the younger girl would be ignoring her. No big deal, Savannah was starting to get used to the whole cold shoulder thing from her family. The only person that was treating her somewhat normal, except for her evil cousins of course, was her sister. Even though they had their occasional fights, and not just words either, they still got along fairly good. It made her think about something Annie had said to her, nothing could break the bond between her and her twin, no matter what path she chose in the end.
She was just about to say something else when Effy finally decided to speak up. Smiling Savannah got up from the bed, her back to Effy. “I’m just looking out for you darling, like old times.” She looked over her shoulder, a mischievous smile playing on her lips. Memories washed through her mind the moment she finished the sentence. Her and Effy drinking in here together at night, them sneaking out. They had been quite the little rebels. “Tell me, do you still keep that bottle of vodka ?” She said turning around so she was facing her. “Bottom drawer right ?” She added holding her head to the side some. She couldn’t help but wonder if the blonde ever regretted any of the things they had done together, cause Savannah certainly didn’t.
“You know I still clearly remember when I didn’t need an invitation to come in here.” She added walking towards the bed again, sitting down on the stop she had been sitting before. “I don’t see why that has to change, since well, we’re both on the same side now.” She said still smiling, looking her cousin in the eyes.

Effy relaxed for a moment when her cousin got off her bed, but then she realised that her cousin would probably preocupy herself with effy's belongings. Effy didn't like people going through her things, she had them in perfect order all neat and tidy so she knew where everything was. “I’m just looking out for you darling, like old times.” effy put down her pen for a moment and stopped writing. Old times.. the times when things were fun, care free and simple. Where ffy never worried about the consequences of what she was doing. Her life was fun and games. Her life was happy. And what was it now? Overwhelming, crazy and hard. ''Don't darling me, I can look out for myself. She said Trying not to let her wistfulness show. Effy always played defensive it was the easiest way to hide and pretend she wasn't hurting. When inside she was screaming, in pain. Sure all her friends noticed the sudden change, the always compared her to how she used to be. The flirty fun-loving daredevil, whereas now she was a bookworm quiet and as ever insecure. Only her true friends had stuck by her, trying to get the old effy back. But not one of them had succeeded...
“Tell me, do you still keep that bottle of vodka? Bottom drawer right ?”effy smiled, a rare expression to see on her face. ''That bottle in particular is long gone. Remember when I had three days off school because I had the 'flu'? Yeah I had a hang over from hell.'' Effy replied and picked up her pen again, writing a few more sentences to her essay. She stopped, this time putting the lid on her pen and closing her notepad. ''Bottom of my wardrobe, theres a black box.''
[/b] effy stated. Sure just for old times sake? That box was pretty heavy, it had three litres of vodka, one litre of smirnoff ice and a bottle of yagermister. Under all the bottle there was a small plastic bag about the size off a human hand which contained mdma. Effy's favourite drug. For old times sake of course. “You know I still clearly remember when I didn’t need an invitation to come in here.” just as effy had thought she had side tracked her cousin she sat down again. Effy shrugged and began to neatly stack her books and papers, placing them by the side of her bed. Finally she put her pens and pencils away, knowing she wasn't going to get any work done now. “I don’t see why that has to change, since well, we’re both on the same side now.” effy flinched, like someone had punched a hole right through her. ''I am and never will be on the same side as you savannah.''[/b] effy replied cooly. • word count; five hundred and eighty-seven. • tags; savannah penny halliwell • muse; alice in wonderland soundtrack. • notes;none. • status; complete! Savannah shook her head some at her cousin’s stubbornness. “Oh I can see that, that the reason why your skin is basically sticking to your bones lately?” Her cousin had always been on the skinny side, but never like this. A small part of her, even though she wouldn’t admit it, was worried about the young girl. The rest of the family might keep their mouth shut but Savannah was never one for pretending everything was perfectly okay. “Tell me, when was the last time you actually ate something ?” She wondered if saying any of this would mean that she could get through that thick skull of hers. She personally doubted it though. The brunette smiled as she listened to her saying what had happened to the bottle of vodka she had asked about. “Oh you little rebel.” She said laughing, “Well I really shouldn’t be surprised I guess.” She shrugged some. “I do miss those days though, when we could just hang out without constantly trying to kill each other, that reminds me, how is your neck ?” It continued to surprise her how easy going her family was about all of this. She had nearly killed Effy the other day and still they wouldn’t hurt her, no she had to challenge them, and even then it still wasn’t easy to get them to do anything.
“The black box ?” Savannah asked curiously glancing at the closet. She knew for a fact that it would annoy Effy if she would open the closet and go through her things. But to be honest she really couldn’t care less. Opening the closet with just a flick of her hand she held her head to the side some and made the box levitate to the desk, it was quite heavy so it made her even more curious about what exactly was in there. “You know for a good girl you do quite a few bad things honey.” She took the lit of and glanced inside smirking as she saw the amount of alcohol. It wasn’t until she saw the small plastic bag though that she really looked impressed. “Mommy’s not gonna like this.” She said amused, taking the bag in her hand and lifting it up some. “Your dad.. well depends on which one we’re talking about here.” She added winking. Letting the bag fall back in the box she inspected it for a few more seconds before closing it again. She didn’t make a move to put it back in the closet though.
Savannah smiled as she noticed Effy flinch at her reply. “Looks like I hit a nerve.” She continued to look her in the eyes. You could say that it was her way of showing Effy that she wasn’t scared, that she was confident. One of her old teachers had told her about that once, it isn’t easy to actually look someone right in the eyes when talking to them, it takes courage. “Look Effy, we both know you shimmered, there is no denying that.” Savannah said simply shrugging some. “Your father is a demon, one of the most powerful demons out there too, we both know the history, he tried to be good too.. didn’t exactly work out did it.” She let her eyes glide over Effy holding her head to the side some. “Makes me wonder if you’ll have a demonic form too like him, or that other demon that almost killed my mom once.. eermm Sirk I think his name was.”

“Oh I can see that, that the reason why your skin is basically sticking to your bones lately?” effy ignored her and simply pulled her cardigan around her tighter. She hated it when people commented on her weight or apperance it just made her feel even more insecure. Besides as long as she was trying to be happy that was all that mattered right? Wrong, because try as she might, not eating and neglecting yourself made you far from happy.“Tell me, when was the last time you actually ate something ?” ''None of you business hannah. Where was the last time you weren't a bitch?'' she replied, her sarcasm the only way she could think of to distract her elder cousin. Knowing savannah, who was always hot tempered and up for a fight, she would insult her back or even worse hurt her like she had done before. “Oh you little rebel. Well I really shouldn’t be surprised I guess. I do miss those days though, when we could just hang out without constantly trying to kill each other, that reminds me, how is your neck ?” effy shot a scowl at the brunette, sure she missed them but she wasn't going to admit it. She had a hard time convincing other people let alone herself that she enjoyed her way of life. Her neck... her neck was hidden by a black wollen scarf. It hid the bruises that her cousin had caused, telekinetic of course. Effy stared at the wall for a moment, unsure of what to say to the twenty year old.
“The black box ?” ''No Hannah, the pink and sparkly one.''
[/b] she said softly, her sarcastic tone creeping in again. Effy watched the box float out and settle on her tidy desk. “You know for a good girl you do quite a few bad things honey.“Mommy’s not gonna like this.” effy wasn't really listening to her, to be perfectly honest she knew savannah wouldn't tell her mother, pheobe brooke halliwell, what she had done. Not only because they were blood bu because effy had things on sav too. The sort that made mummy and daddy want to kill their daughter rather than try and save her. “Your dad.. well depends on which one we’re talking about here.” effy watched her shut the box, wanting her to put it back in her wardrobe because it looked out of place. Menacing almost. ''One day Savannah, this whole cole or coop thing is going to get really old. It might not be today or tomorrow, not even next week but just shut the fuck up okay?'' effy spat, not caring if anyone heard her raised tone. She wanted it made clear that just because she was part demon she shouldn't be treated differently. “Look Effy, we both know you shimmered, there is no denying that.Your father is a demon, one of the most powerful demons out there too, we both know the history, he tried to be good too.. didn’t exactly work out did it. Makes me wonder if you’ll have a demonic form too like him, or that other demon that almost killed my mum once.. eermm Sirk I think his name was.” that was it, effy had had it. She was tired of everyone's comments on her demonic heritage. Tired of how everyone criticised her. This was it she had had enough of it. Especially from savannah penny halliwell . ''ooooooh look at me!''[/b] she announced and stood up on her bed placing her hands on her bony hips. ''my names effy rosalie halliwell, i'm part demon my dad's name is cole turner or blathazor which ever takes your fucking fancy.'' effy paused for a moment, glaring at her cousin.''ohh noo! Look at me, my names savannah penny bitch halliwell. I like to make peoples lifes a misery and look down on their misfortunes because I have nothing better to do. now effy wasn't stupid, she knew that savannah would do ethier two things, laugh at her and have some sort of comeback that effy could easily match. Or she would launch herself at her trying to kill her once more. Oh how fun.

Savannah couldn’t help but smirk at Effy’s sarcastic comments. “Okay so I take it it’s been a while.” She said not giving in on the opportunity to start a fight for once. She knew herself that she had quite the temper and even though she usually wouldn’t hesitate to take action after being insulted, this time she was fairly sure she would get the opportunity to do so pretty quick. Her hotheadedness got her in trouble quite a few times but it did teach people not to mess with her, or well most people cause her cousin really didn’t seem to learn. Just a while ago she had almost chocked her to dead and now she was already challenging her again. Well considering the scowl Effy shot her she was starting to royally piss her off. Once again she had hit a nerve with her. She could clearly see in Effy’s mind that she missed those days just as much as her. Even thought it gave her real migraines sometimes she had to admit she really loved her new power. There were no more secrets for her, nobody could hide anything unless they were really concentrating, and even then only the most skilled managed to actually do so. She moved her hand and made the scarf go tighter against Effy’s neck for a few seconds before letting it fly of her and onto the floor on the other side of the room. “Aatch babe.” She said shaking her head some as she walked closer to her and inspected the bruises she had caused to her. “Damn that must hurt.” She added, not even attempting to act as if she felt sorry for what she did. She touched the bruises looking closer before just stepping back again. “Well I’m sure it’ll heal.” She said shrugging some.
“You know that sarcastic side of you is going to get you in trouble one of these days babe, we wouldn’t want any bruises to join the ones on your neck now would we.” She said almost threatening. She knew she could intimidate a lot of people, her family however were not part of that group. She didn’t know if it was just foolishness or just plain stupidity. Her family still seemed to underestimate what her and her cousins were capable off. They may not seem all that harmless at first sight, but they could cause quite a lot of damage. Savannah herself had killed several innocents, so pretty much proven she had stepped over to the other side. She was also pretty much sure the elders had gotten the message about her turning evil with the amount of whitelighters she had tortured. She didn’t exactly phase back from a little bit of blood, no actually it was probably the other way around. What was a little bit of blood more or less right. “I just think it’s fun really, you of all people being the daughter of the big bad.” She shook her head some smirking. Honestly she was just waiting for her cousin to join her and her other cousins. It wasn’t exactly something to easily control, evil that is. Cole had tried it, several times and each time he had failed at it. Savannah honestly didn’t see how Effy would be any different.
Savannah watched amused as the young girl finally had enough of her messing around. She raised an eyebrow as she tried to act like how supposedly Savannah would act. “You know after the lesson I showed you last time you would think that you would atleast try and be a bit more…respectful.” She got up from the soft bed and took a deep breath. “And your thoughts are right too, there are two options.” She hesitated some thinking. “I’m still thinking of which one to pick though..” She glanced at the blonde for a second taking a deep breath. She loved her cousin but there was a line and Effy continued to cross it, over and over again. She threw her hand out throwing her against the wall behind the bed. “Soft landing.. for now.” An innocent smile made it’s way onto her lips as she sat down on the bed again. To most people she looked perfectly harmless probably, it was probably cliché but a lot of people still judged by appearance and in looks.. Savannah probably wasn’t the most threatening girl out there. She was one of the shortest girls in her family standing at 5 foot 1 inch. Sighing she moved some of Effy’s hair out of her eyes, which would probably have been a nice gesture if she hadn’t just thrown her against the wall like that.
