Christian walked over to the bench where his brother, who was talking to his imaginary friend, sat. There was no school today so Christian decided to hang out with his little brother since their sisters had to do some things. In his hand he held two hotdogs. He handed one to Brayden by setting it on the space between them then set down the other on the arm of the bench along with the drinks. He had been looking after Bray who was still running about and today he found him when he was picking him up at the house, in his underwear running in a circle. Again. But hey that's his little bro! He felt bad that he had autism but he knows the kid will be alright, and that made him love him more. To Bray, Christian was one of his pets and he had thought that was cute too. "Here you go, Bray, just the way you like it. Oh and I left half of it not with mustard in case if you know he doesn't want that," he said with the "he" part referring to the imaginary friend. "You had wanted sprite right? Or was it coke? I forgot. Cause I had to get Pepsi since there was no more of neither of them, if that's okay."

so, originally the only reason why he'd been running around in his underwear at the house today was because he'd woken up, rather late, from a nightmare - the recurring one that he thought was just out to get him, and would finally claim him in a couple hundered years or so. for brayden (who likes to be known as 'bray'), sleeping in his underwear was a common occurence, hence the running around of him in his underwear the moment he'd woken up from said nightmare. and the circle? well that was because pumpernikel said that circles were good for the brain in aiding how to forget about nightmares. and pumpernikel was right. pumpernikel was always right bray sure was glad that he had a friend like pumpernikel, even if his sisters and brother couldn't see him. but that was okay, they didn't have the right human tools to be able to see his friends, only christian could though, sometimes, not all the time. anyway, his brother came home and found him running in these circles in his underwear and ordered him to dress.
ten minutes later and brayden was dressed in jeans, a t-shirt and a hoodie. there was a hat on his head to accomdate the weather conditions and shoes on his feet because, well, because shoes were necessary and he didn't much fancy the idea of standing on anything sharp and being cut open. then there would be blood. and bray didn't much like the sight of blood. so shoes were necessary! and they helped him walk from the house to the car, out of the car and to a bench with pumpernikel whilst his 'biggest and bestest brother in the whole wide world' went to get them a hotdog each and a drink. of course bray had made sure to remind christian that pumpernikel was with them and therefore he would share his hotdog with his friend but there only had to be half mustard, 'cause pumpernikel didn't like mustard.
brayden was sitting on the bench arm with his feet on the bench and his elbows on his knees talking animatedly to pumpernikel when christian came back with the hotdogs. he grinned at his brother and immediately picked up the hotdog, taking a bite out of the mustard'd end and then holding out the hotdog to the air so that pumpernikel could take a bite. he listened to his brother talk about the hotdog and then the drinks and nodded enthusiastically. "ooh, that's okay petty; pumpernikel and me like pepsi, yes we do" he took another bite out of his hotdog and then set it down on the bench, careful not to drop it. "chrissyy, how comes there's no school today?" he asked, hitting the side of his own head with a fist in an attempt to flatten his hair.

"Good I'm glad that you guys like it so I won't have to try to find you one," he told him. "Hey its a good thing its a day off that means we get to have fun, right?" he sat down next to his brother on the other side since his brother's imaginary friend is on the left side. Then as his brother was hitting the side of his head to try to flatten his hair, Christian smiled. "Here, lemme," he said. Christian took off Brayden's hat just to smooth down his hair and placed the hat back on. Like a father would to a son, Christian leaned over and kissed the top of his brother's head then pulled away. "Cause its teacher's planning day," he answered his brother's question. He had felt Brayden needed more attention because of the autism and despite that his brother is taking medicine for it and is a bit better, still, it could take a long time. But it can happen, Jenny McCarthy's son is doing well. To Christian, he reminded him of Artie from their favorite movie that Leo DiCaprio had played and like Gilbert, Christian can be very very protective over his brother, not to mention his sisters as well. If Bray ends up with someone Christian would be the one who would tell the boyfriend to make sure Bray is treated special at all costs and that he would need a lot of taking care of because if Bray is hurt-both mental and physically, Christian won't be very happy. He loves his siblings very deeply and wants nothing but happiness for everyone. So yeah no hurting his brother or they'd get it. Then he thought of what else they could do but decided to ask his brother instead. "Hey after we are done with lunch, what else would you like to do?"
