a truly beautiful day, completely gorgeous. a bright blue sky with a partial scattering of clouds, with a whole lot of sun. there was a very slight chill in the air, but that was only because it was the bay area. it was strange though, because usually san francisco in march was still a bit gloomy with heavy overcast and tons of clouds blocking the sun out of sight and still freezing temperatures. prescott street was completely filled with it's usual summer inhabitants of walking, mowing the grass, and taking out the garbage. however, one thing was completely strange. there were no halliwells visible to the neighbor's eyes, unlike usual--playing basketball in the driveway, out on the grass just chatting about things, or on the porch watching the kids play in the street. they were all indoors, at their jobs, at school, or just out, well all except one of them. the neighbors knew that the family was a strange bunch, but there was no one stranger than any of them than the second youngest of the whole halliwell family--tenley angelina halliwell.
young miss halliwell was lying out on the grass, a hot pink towel beneath her while a black bikini covered with white polka dots fitted her well toned and comely body. giant-lensed sunglasses covered the girl's large green eyes, and black flip-flops were covering the soles of her feet. her semi-pale skin was growing redder and darker by the minute, and she sighed though her red painted lips as she waited for the small timer next to her to go off, signaling on when she should turn over. any second now, cause with ten's naturally fair skin, it wasn't wise for her to be out there for too long.
with a ding, the timer went off, and tenley switched onto her stomach, revealing the upper and lower back tattoos which she had for quite sometime now it seemed. her face was looking at the halliwell manor's front porch and behind the large sunglasses, she closed her eyes, hoping to catch a small nap before her 'tanning' session was done with. this meditation session would hopefully help tenley with her premonitions and her getting them. it was getting a bit easier, but still, when she actually was asleep, it was a different story.
pulling out her ipod touch from the juicy couture purse near her, she put the buds in her ears, and music began blasting from them into her head. she couldn't even hear the car pull up into the driveway, let alone see it. she didn't care though if she did, it was a friday, and ten had pulled a little fib and told her mother she wasn't feeling all that well. in actual truth, she was, but it was mostly just anxiety and insomnia. well, those couldn't have counted you from missing school. but for tenley, if she played her cards right, it always did.
