Something was following him, he knew it. He could feel something trailing him every step he took. Something dark. Damon jumped from one place to another in hopes of loosing it, him, her, whatever. It trailed further and further, by the time he hit the park he didn't sense anything. Hidden in the dark, it couldn't be past midnight but it was black as pitch. He took a breath and leaned against a shaded tree, catching his breath. Whatever hunted him gave him a good run for his money. His head snapped to the side at a sound from behind, but he didn't hear anything else. His breath returned to normal, he'd been ducking this thing all day and it was getting a little old. He groaned softly and let his head fall against the harsh wood of the tree. "If you're going to kill me just do it already." He called quietly, turning his head to the side again. He didn't have to look to know if it was the thing who'd been following him all day, he was smart enough to know. He didn't particularly like to fight, but he doubted it would be that easy to kill him again if he didn't give up. His powers gave him a good amount of defense, offense if he willed it. But he was generally less fight and more defend if he could be. Notes: sorry it's kinda short i suck at firsty posts :x Tagged: Amy! Outfit: clickehh + clickehh

* you taught me how to hate you, AND I WAS SO IN LOVE, ••••••••••• news flash, news flash hailey had gained word via her connexions that a certain whitelighter had the info she had been searching for. the information that had enriched her self-worth and deprivation felt after the sudden loss of her baby girl, her princess little milly. you see hailey had always been a little bit of a flirt, a slut or even a whore, whatever name is ringing its all the same thing. so when she fell pregnant there were complications from the start for one, knowing who the father was reached top priority but this was soon exstinguished by trouble brewing down under in which hailey had to get in on the action despite carrying. then before she knew it bam. little baby was born. if hailey had known her life would've been so short she would've done something worthwhile instead of abandoning her poor girl just to go out and have a laugh. when the fateful death occured hailey was enraged and wanted nothing more to reek havoc anywhere and everywhere she could, thus including both the underworld, the mortal world and even the heavens. she didn't care who she hurt all she needed was damn answers of which she was yet to get. her rage was dampened slightly by a fellow evil doer and believer but that sieze could only last for so long. so now here hailey was hot on the trail of her new target, her victim the guy she would killed once she had squeezed every last detail out of her whitelighter mind, body and spirit. the thrill of the kill was always overpowering.
from places to place she sensed, felt and meandered after him, each time getting so much closer she could almost taste the delicious taste on success on the tip of her tongue. the tongue that was currently licking her lips in a moment of self-estacy. even in a hetic time like this hailey could find time to season herself with her seductive attributes ready for the ultimate showdown. someone would fall tonight and hailey knew it wouldn't be her. following him to the famous golden gate park, hailey marvelled in the knowledge of common ground, many a time she had kill here, slept here and even well we don't need to go into details about what happens when she makes someone happy. smirking upon hearing the timid voice she fought to stiffle a sarcastic laugh. "if i wanted to kill you, don't you think i'd have done it by now. oh i forget when you angels fall from the skies you bump all the common sense straight out of your heads." ouch. she was on top form tonight and the irony played well to her advantage of course she wanted to kill him, but where were the rules saying these things had to be fast? conjuring her famous apple she took a bite, the crunching sound echoing through the darkness. "you can run but you can't hide." and that was it, game on.

Damon sighed again and rolled his eyes a bit at the dry humor of the darklighter who'd chased him here. Female, by the voice. A pitfall for him, he often had a weakness for females be they good or evil. He himself preferred good, neutral even. More or less because they didn't want to kill him after the roll in the sheets. His hand slid into his pocket, pulling out a cigarette and a lighter. He wasn't running from her anymore, she would either kill him or not he wouldn't hide. The small flare up probably alerted her to the closeness they shared. He relaxed his pose a bit, a smirk spreading across his face as she stalked around the underbrush, obviously taking her sweet time in seeking him out. Angel? If anything he wasn't really an angel, mistaken identity maybe. "If I'm an angel then so are you," He smiled a little as he took a deep breath of smoke. At least it couldn't hurt him. It seemed that she was experienced as a hunter, she'd probably sent a fair few of his kind back to heaven. She could find him easily he was sure, but she enjoyed this time. The stalking, the expected fear. But he wasn't afraid. He caught a glimpse of her back as she passed nearby, just a flicker of blonde from the corner of his eyes. Great. Knowing his luck she was a knockout, blonde, thin, curvy, big eyes pretty mouth... He'd stake his life on it, had he not already been. Death wasn't something that scared him, he'd been through that before. It really wasn't that bad, but he doubted he'd die. Not tonight anyway. His weakness may be females but they also happened to be a strength. She curried possible destruction and he'd still flirt with it, he wouldn't fight unless he absolutely had to. "I'm not running, and I'm not hiding. Maybe you're just a little blind?" He smiled a little, knowing that no matter how close she was she didn't like to be mocked. But she seemed quick of wit and probably faster with her weapon. He could always play on humor, but typical Darklighter humor was sarcastic and dry. Much like his own though he'd never admit having anything in common with them. Honestly he knew that they were very similar, one of their main differences being that they weren't bound by the rules he so despised. Both species were fueled by their wants, their needs, personal desires, but he had those 'guidelines'. His mind meandered in the meantime, wondering what exactly he'd done to attract a darklighter in the first place. They had reasons for picking their targets, she probably thought he'd seen something, knew something, or done something. And she'd marked him for it. Usually being a simple opposite wasn't enough to chase down and kill someone, unless she suffered from a temper problem. * you taught me how to hate you, AND I WAS SO IN LOVE, ••••••••••• taking another bite on her apple she let her feet do the walking as you know feet should. the place in which this whitelighter had taken her was a maze if not anything else. of course hailey knew her way round the actual park but why in hell's name, no offence to you know satan, would this fendish creature pick to land in the freckin' underbush. as if hailey wasn't dirty enough now she had to get even more mucky and not even the type of mucky she liked. and boy did this girl like to get mucky should it be in the right context. nearer closer to where she could sense he was. hailey momentarily moved her apple away she could always conjure in back up later, for now she'd give this guy the benefit of the doubt. and why kill so fast anyway? hailey was a girl of courage and inner fight, she could go all night but still win out with the kill. "wow can't think of your own comebacks so you reuse other peoples. low blow my friend." hailey retorted lightly. it seemed she had a dry tongued guy here. oh they were her favourite kind. competitive much? well you see hailey liked competitions and it wasn't exactly fun if you opponants didn't even try their hand at trying to beat you.
turning a few small corners, hailey could feel herself closing the ever nearing proximety between herself and her lastest victim or perhaps even toy. it very much depended on her mood and how exactly this guy was going to try and sweet talk his way out of death like many had tried before him. hailey loved to make her whitelighter friends beg for mercy oh the sound of their screams were always music to her ears. when his second comment came she was right behind him, slowly and swiftly meandering herself into position she quickly turned so that she was facing him, her breath hitched almost in a growl " would you like to test that theory, whitelighter?" so perhaps being in the underbush wasn't too bad. it meant she could actually call him by the correct name without any strange passerbys getting witty idea's about what could possibly be going on between the two of them. hailey had been blind once before in her life and it actually made her stronger with her other sentences so even if by some miracle this whitelighter thought he had an outing by testing her patience or ability. he would be sadly mistaken when she would still wip his ass into shape. clear vision or clouded vision. hailey saskia rhodes never gives up the fight.

Always the expert on body language, Damon could tell just by the way this darklighter walked as he spotted her that she loved this. She loved the thrill and the rush that came with taking a life, whether it be mortal or not. Her features were sharp, even in the dark, as she turned on him and made her little threats of death and judgment. He'd been right, she was very attractive. Her blonde hair and pale skin belied the darkness swirling just below her surfaces. He wouldn't be fooled. She'd sooner kill him than speak to him. But she wasn't killing him. That told him that she wanted him for something specific. His intelligence was high enough that he understood a bargaining chip, and knew perfectly well how to use one. If it happened to be his mind, or something else, then so be it. "I am no friend of yours," He murmured under his breath, letting out a small cloud of smoke. "Do it. If you can." He stood a little straighter, pulling away from the tree and up to his full height. He was shooting in the dark, honestly. He could defend himself if needed, but he was assuming she wanted him alive. He was hoping. "You'd have tried already if you wanted me dead, so what is it you're really after?" Cocky, yes. But usually well founded in his cockyness. But with her experience he assumed, she didn't have to taunt him with words and chasing. She wanted something specific and wouldn't kill him until she had it. His tone was challenging, her stance told him she not only liked someone to challenge her, she wanted it. Needed it, even. Her hunts must be so easy, none of her targets ever putting up much fight to her ... Charms. Scared, no. His heart beat hadn't hinted at a raise, he felt no fear of neither her, nor the death she could wield. It may have insulted her a bit, but she didn't seem to show it. But be she dangerous as she was, and he in a rather bad situation, he couldn't help it. Being male, his eyes slid up her figure without hesitation, not bothering to hide it. Why should he? If anything it was a compliment. And she was very much worth complimenting. Notes: <3 Tagged: AMY! Word Count: 379

* you taught me how to hate you, AND I WAS SO IN LOVE, ••••••••••• hailey found the thought of this situation very amusing. the way in which the whitelighter had led her to the very darkness, she lives and breathes in. the underworld isn't exactly disco central unlike perhaps the heavens where clouds are fluffy and light. that would be hailey's definition of hell, ironic? we think not. " well, well looks like i've found myself a cynic. never heard of a turn of phrase? and i was under the impression you thought of yourselves as smart. shame i must say. i am disappointed." hailey purred. oh how she loved making things awkward. you could probably assume that hailey despised whitelighters or part whitelighters completely, but this wasn't exactly true. but what a whitelighter doesn't know can't possibly hurt him. ha. okay so it can hurt him but there's no fun without a little pain. "you whitelighters are all the same, you stay brave for a while then when the time comes for death, you really wish you hadn't said anything at all. you may try and deny now, but the results always ends the same." hailey wasn't going to kill on his time frame, she had her own needs and desires and why rush what could be such a nice encounter? okay nice was perhaps an overstatement, but it was possible, maybe.
glancing at him, she nodded faintly. " the light switch has finally gone has it? and i'm in no rush to tell you anything." hailey was in the mood for some general tossing of words, plus she needed time to take in this guys attire. after all if she did have to kill him it was going to be slow and meaningful. one does loves to have a good face to look at while she's going all prediator on them. it was obvious straight away he was a competitor in the famous battle of being heard, it was the survival of the fittest you could say. only one race will win out but whom shall that race be, and all that jazz. to be truthfully hailey wouldn't be too fussed if she didn't kill him tonight as long as she got something out of it. "for a whitelighter you seem pretty dark babycakes." she commented pulling down on the base of her shirt in a relaxed stance. sometimes a girl can get stuck between what she really wants and whats the right thing to do. ah the mysteries of being a force not to be messed with.

Damon avoided rolling his eyes at the taunting voice of the pretty blonde. Her tone dripped with sarcasm and disdain. No surprise, she wasn't fond of his kind. In fact he wasn't particular either, he didn't stick well to the whole 'rules' thing. She tossed around insults like vowels, but he wasn't surprised. She was cocky and overly confident, and he wouldn't make her think otherwise. Whether or not he could defend against her, she could still be poisonous to him. It was probably better for her not to be provoked. Unfortunately his mouth didn't agree. "I'm not like the others, I'm not afraid to die again. I'm not, however, a patient man. Kill me or tell me what you want." His tone wasn't harsh, it maybe reflected a bit of annoyance, but that was to be expected. A smirk played over his lips at her comment of his dress code. What, she expected a halo and white robes? Hardly. "Coming from the barbie doll of darklighters, I'll take that as a compliment." He hid the fact that the 'babycakes' comment threw him off. He'd always been good at hiding emotions, and had been accused many times of not feeling them in the first place. Her relaxed stance annoyed him more. She was toying with him, making him either wait for death, or drawing out her enjoyment of this playful banter. Actually that was probably it. He doubted she was the type who let her victims live in her presence long enough to shoot back at her. Her targets were generally mortals most likely, and didn't last long. They probably freaked out, screaming and trying to run. But he'd seen and fought her type, and wasn't afraid. She needed someone to lord over, to feel in control. Looked to him like someone had a little bit of a 'top dog' complex. Other than him, that is. NOTES: muse kinda sucked a lil sorry! TAGGED: AMY! WORD COUNT: 326 LYRICS: Def Leppard - Foolin'

* you taught me how to hate you, AND I WAS SO IN LOVE, ••••••••••• hailey liked this guy already purely because he wasn't afraid to speak his mind like many others before him. that she respected, however this didn't make her lose focus from her cause, her lifestyle she too had to stick to the law she had laid down for herself it was very , kill or be killed. kinda like a motto but in the same way not one. "there's a big difference between dying the frist time and then dying at my hand, babe." of course the babe was placed there to test his morals. some never minded the resounding voice that was hailey, others tended to get all pissy about it and then she'd be all 'jeez don't get your wings in a knot'. one of hailey's more playful motto's was a good and realistic one, girls just wanna have fun. to her this was true as it would be to many others as well. "did you not know that patience is a virtue, perhaps its one you should learn." she tossed about, relaxing her stance even more. hailey noticed the smirk playing across his lips and almost tasted slight success on her tongue. bitter sweet successing moving its way to her. it was inevitable.
"like i haven't heard that before. if my hair colour was fake perhaps that would've had more sting but its real and i'm just as dangerous as my fellow darklighters. if not more." the whole looks can be decieving thing was definitely true when it came to hailey. most of the time people would see her as being the dumb blonde or the plastics but honestly she's neither. if anything she is tactical and very materialistic. when people say jump she'd be the one going how high rather than shying away. letting her eyes fall on the guy before her, she had a clear playful demeanor. she would much rather have some fun than actually kill him and wouldn't that be just as good for him as well. hailey could give him death or she could get her information and also give him a good 'ride' of it as well, if you catch her immediate drift. "so has mister i'm not afraid to die got a name?" she asked, it was an honest question. unless of course he prefered her calling him babe. she wasn't fussed either way.

Damon didn't believe there was a difference in the first and second comings of death. Both had monumental amounts of pain, he knew. But to be perfectly honest, he enjoyed a little bit of pain. He'd always been the type of guy who thought if a girl couldn't be rough she couldn't be fun. This pretty little snake was quite obviously rough around the edges, rather the way he liked it. But she was of a warring species, and he'd never bedded a darklighter before. Probably because they would probably kill him themselves if they found out. But since when did he care about consequences? Patience was indeed a virtue, but one he'd neglected to pay much attention to. And he was glad about it. "So is modesty, but I hope you never learn that one." He lifted his dark brows in a slightly suggestive gesture and let his eyes take in her clothing. Nothing too revealing, but certainly appealing to the eyes. She probably already knew that. He didn't think she dressed that way purposely to be attractive, it likely just came natural as the most comfortable, being on the dark side came with it's benefits he well knew. He'd considered switching sides before, though no one ever knew. The lure of absolute freedom was almost more than he could stand. Thankfully he was well guarded in his emotions and hid them well. "More so, I'd bet." He commented quietly. No need to raise his voice, he had no doubts she could hear him just fine. It was near silent out here anyway, not even the animals came here at this hour. He could almost hear her heartbeat, likely it sped slightly from the thrill he knew she got, having her prey cornered and waiting her to strike. He'd seen many darklighters but she seemed different. Less menacing but just as dangerous. Probably more. "Men likely fall before you, begging to die by your hand don't they?" He smiled a little. Had he never seen a darklighter he'd think she were the best nightmare he'd ever had. But he knew what she was. And how easily swayed by her wants. It was a weakness both species shared at least. He succumbed to his physical desires maybe a little more than he should. "Of course I do. But nothing in this world comes without a price."TAGGED: Amy WORD COUNT: 395

* you taught me how to hate you, AND I WAS SO IN LOVE, ••••••••••• hailey could almost see the clogs turning in his mind. she didn't even need to use her skill of telepathy to know exactly what was going on up there. the thought alone simply amused the young blonde. yes simple things did give this girl the giggles , it was always part of the charm that. if everything in life was complicated there would be no fun. and with no fun we have no enthusiasm to succeed. without simplicity nothing would ever get done and thats the bare truth. "what makes you think, yes you think that i'm not already modest? i'd like to hear this one." hailey contemplated his response if infact she was actually going to get one. then again whether she was modest or not was no great concern of hers. she had much more pressing concerns and desires to contend with first and foremost. as his eyes glimmered over her, hailey defined her stance a little more, the pull on her lower shirt becoming more deviant by the mistake. her was definitely a sexual contender who like the rule about freedom to express ones self appropriately. his whispers were of ample hearing. after all it was after midnight and the echoing quietness was tranquil if not eery. "quite the bright spark are we?" it wasn't a question that required an answer, it was more rhetorical than anything else.
hailey marvelled in his poor judgement. "oh babe, only the foolish beg for death. men fall too right but not for the death by my hand. there is so much more i can offer them. sometimes staying alive near me is much more painful than a quick death." hailey explained with her free will to do so. sure enough once or twice before some guys would beg her for death only because the tortures acts were too much for their little souls to handle. better off with hades perhaps. when he responsed to her name question, a small smirk crossed her features. so he was a player in this competition for power meddling. "oh do enlighten me on this price. although i'd like to say the best things in life are free." she had to admit that was a pretty good comeback to say she was running on empty. swiftly stepping forward she narrowed the proximety between them.

A small laugh of amusement escaped Damon's lips as the woman before him tried to justify her modesty. Please. "With a figure like that, I doubt you know the meaning of the word." His dark brows lifted slightly as a smirk invaded. His eyes lowered a little. "Not that I'm complaining, mind you." Complimenting a dark lighter wasn't usually on his list of things to do, but she was a stunning creature, evil or not. He couldn't help but think that way, no matter how hard he tried to suppress his physical desires they always resurfaced with a passion that could burn. Not all who begged for death were foolish, he mused to himself. But asking for it from someone who got enjoyment from your pain would be. he got the notion that she, whoever she might be, was just such a person. "And what would you beg for?" He asked curiously, the smirk creeping over his fine features once more. His eyes watched her carefully as she stepped closer, still delicately taking in her flawless form. The comment had been a little forward, but he couldn't resist. His fingers flicked the end of the cigarette away, not bothering to put it out. The night was cool enough there would be no worry, it landed among dew covered leaves strewn across the ground and sizzled out without hesitation. "If my name is your price, you can have it." He murmured softly, lowering his eyes to her face as she closed up much of the space between them. She stood a bit shorter than he, but not too far down. Close enough range that should he break the physical boundaries he wouldn't have to go but a few inches to meet her mouth...

* you taught me how to hate you, AND I WAS SO IN LOVE, ••••••••••• the small laugh that escaped the young male lips didn't make a notch on hailey self will or controlled appearance. however an incandescent glaze seemed to past over her for a moment or two once she heard his comment. it was like going back to the start all over again. out of her many, yes many years as a darklighter never had she come across with someone with such a sense of naivety that they quite happily insult you and compliment at the very same time. how quiant this was coming from such a creature as a supposedly gracious whitelighter figure. "sweet talker i see, not afraid of the consequences very brave i must say." hailey conceeded in an almost purring tone. she liked playing on her vowels in speech it made her voice echo without actually raising in volume. creepy or what? her judgement of the young male right about now was changing, he wasn't like the others considerably he seemed to be just as a deviant as she was, but obviously on the opposing sides. this could ultimately prove interesting if not anything else of a mysterious demeanor.
yet again hailey could see such clogs turning in his mind and he began unraveling this maze that was her. she wasn't like any puzzle he would've tried before, it'll only take one wrong piece and he'd have to start all over again. shame shame shame. complicated seduction was hailey's dominant style model of life. raising her eyebrow slightly at his next gesture of speech, her smirk was more defined and somewhat playful. "wouldn't you like to know. babe. you do know that curiousity killed the cat." but alas was he actually a cat who would be killed by her hand, or would he be this ferocious lion willing to try and take her ... in ways that can only be described correctly in fantasies. he was no killer thats for sure. her gaze briefly followed his cigarette butt then returned to his face. "all this talk of prices is such a bore." hailey stated bringing her hand up to her mouth as if to exaggerate a yawn. once she had finished the slight yawn that did actually come, boy those things are contagious she let her arm swing loose gently brushing against the young male before her. "but if you assume it is my price. go ahead and give a little." hailey never did like to make things easy. the complicated the better. enthralling of excitement shouldn't be too far from reach now.
