Loud music was blaring from the giant speakers of Liddiyah Halliwell's bedroom. It was one of her favorite things, annoy the hell out of her family when they were trying to sleep. Of course, she did have another purpose. She was trying to keep herself awake while redecorating her room. There cans apon cans of black and flourescent paints on the floor, sitting on top of a blue tarp. Rollers and brushes were spread everywhere as the tall girl stood in the middle of her room wearing only a short Paramore t-shirt and batman panties. Her hair was down for once, which was shocking for the girl, since it was usually covered in headbands, or pulled back with clips. But she was in pajamas, who needed hair accesories while in pajamas?
After a minute of standing alone in her room, she bent down, picking up a clean paintbrush. She simply dipped it in the orange flourescent paint before flinging it everywhere. Some drops actually made it to the wall, other splattered her tv and stereo. There were also a few splatters on her, but it would wash off eventually. Anyways, it would look cool walking under a blacklight.
Bending down once more, she turned to the opposite wall, repeating the flinging action. This time, some of the paint hit her black bed sheets before spraying onto the wall. She laughed a bit at the fact, seeing as how it was her goal to make everything rainbow colored in her brand new blacklight.
She repeated the actions with a few more colors before grabbing a detail brush, sitting on the floor. She dipped the brush in flourescent purple before scooting closer to the trim. She began to fill in the stars that were imprinted there, as well as signing her name right above the trim. She always loved the credit for her work.

effy threw her keys on the kitchen counter, she was starving and not to mention thirst. She got a glass out of the cabinet and filled it with water, downing it in almost an instant. Effy could hear loud music was blaring upstairs, which meant only one thing. Her sister was home and keeping everyone else awake. Brillant, just brillant. All her hopes of sneaking upstairs with everyone asleep were foiled now. Of course she could always shimmer, but effy was not going to embrace that demonic power. Well at least for now she wasn't. Now effy hadn't been out partying, which was what most would guess she would be doing. Re-wind a bout six months and she would have been. But fast-forward back to the present and you would see she had simply been for a run. A run? At night. Yep that was effy. She skipped into the laundry room, stripping off all her clothes except her underwear and changing into a pair of leggins and over sized jumper, that she had left out. Refilling her glass, effy went back into the kitchen and debated on eating. No no, she couldn't that just wouldn't be right. Instead she knew exactly what to do, go and pay liddiyah mikayla halliwell a visit.
Effy opened the door to her sisters room, staring at her rainbow covered room for a moment. It was really quite pretty, well effy thought so in a random indy cindy sort of way. Her eyes fell over her sister, despite her wicked ways effy still loved her to bits, though she hada tough time admitting. Sometimes her sister made her want to die, because effy knew she wasn't good enough. Liddi had shown effy all the things she shouldn't know, but effy could always see it in her eyes. That evil sparkle that hadn't always been there. She was tempted to leave the room there and then, take her glass of water and go to bed. And at least attempt to sleep. Instead she closed the door behind her and moved to sit in the middle of lidd's lumonus room. She put her hair up into a messy bun and preceded to plait her blonde fringe off her face and the gripped it back at the side. Still effy had said nothing to her sister. Her quietness engulfed by the music.
Truth be told effy didn't know where to start, what to say to her or do. Effy had always looked up to liddi, but now she wasn't sure if she loved or hated liddi. Effy rememembered a quote from her ethics class, Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams. She didn't know what her dreams were anymore, how was she supposed to fight for them?

Liddi had gone through a whole can of paint by the time she heard her door open and close. Without turning, she knew who it was. The mixed emotions were dripping from her little sister. She kept her back to the blonde though, staring at her work on the wall. She reached up, flicking on the black light overhead so she could actually see the splattered colors over the black. It looked good. The trim especially where she had painted the stars and her name. She was quite proud of herself, though she wasn't done yet. She still had three more cans of paint to go, and deffinatly not enough time in the world.
Finally, as she sat and began painting the trim on this wall, she addressed her little sister. "Well..Don't you have your own room to go in?" She asked with a bit of a sneer. Yes. She loved her little sister. But there was only so much she could take. She finally got out the green paint, starting to fill in the stars with her detail brush. It was a hard task to do, you needed steady hands. And right now, she was anything but steady. With the emotions going thorugh her head, she was getting a massive headache. And it didn't help that she was worried sick about Chris. He was supposed to be home hours ago. He said he'd help, but that wasn't happeneing any time soon she figured. She just wanted the blonde in her room to leave her alone. That was it.

effy felt a little upset that her sister wouldn't even look at her. She watched liddi continue to paint the wall, effy did have to admit it looked pretty cool well very liddish. Effy wondered what the brunette was thinking, she wondered if there was any if even a little remorse in her for what she had done. Maybe, maybe not but all effy had was hope. Hope that one day her sister would be her sister again and not some evil thing. Effy would have used the word shell, but her other sister annie had described effy as a shell of a person herself. So it wasn't really appropriate. The thing that got effy wasn't so much that her sister was evil but the fact she lost her. Lost one of her best friends because truth be told effy had lost a part of herself.
"Well..Don't you have your own room to go in?" effy had been so caught in her thoughts she had to reply her sister's sentence over in her head several times before she understood it. Effy felt hurt, very hurt. She wanted to cry but held it together just because crying was weak. Besides she knew her sister would feel what she was feeling anyway. Effy wasn't sure if her sister wanted her to leave or not. Yes of course she had her own room to go too but that wasn't really the point. Effy remembered when liddi and her had shared a room for a little while. Not out of choice but simply because effy's room was being decorated. At first she had hated it but it was fun, just like one big sleep over. Oh the days when all you cared about was which colour crayon you were going to use to colour something in. times had changed so much. ''Yes, want me to go?'' effy asked hoping the answer would be no.
